Take the leap towards more orienteering adventures

After attending a Discover Orienteering event, it’s time to join the orienteering community!

There are so many different opportunities to get involved with orienteering. From participating socially, to volunteering in the organisational side, or even competing and representing your state or Australia!

Whether you’re chasing fitness, family time, new friends or more outdoor adventures, there is something for everyone.

Learn to Orienteer

The next step after your Discover Orienteering experience: a hands-on program that helps you build confidence and master skills in map-reading, navigation and route choice.

Learn by doing in a supportive, social environment, guided by experienced orienteers.

Community Events

There are more than 1,500 orienteering events held year-round by clubs across Australia. Whether you walk, jog, bike or run, there is an event to suit you.

Events are held in parks, suburbs, campuses, nature reserves and spectacular national parks. There are short, beginner options, right through to championship-level challenges.

Clubs also run a range of social activities and development programs.
